Undergoing Hydrostatic Testing
Tanks and cylinders are used across a number of industries to store liquids and gases. From scuba divers to aviation professionals, many of our clients rely on these cylinders for a variety of different jobs. Because these tanks are used to carry important, and in some cases dangerous chemicals, they must be kept in optimal condition as even the smallest leak can yield catastrophic results. In order to find and repair any potential issues with tanks, it is essential to have a licensed professional routinely hydro-test your equipment, which we can take care of for you.
How Does Hydro-Testing Work?
In order to test your equipment, we pump fluid into your tanks until it reaches a specific pressure ranging from 150-200% of the rating of your cylinders. By purposely exceeding the recommended ratings, we can determine if your tanks are safe to continue operating and are able to locate any weak areas that need repairs.
Why Choose C.F. Service & Supply?
Not only are we thoroughly-experienced and properly-licensed, but as a value-added service, our team tests your equipment after making essential repairs before returning it to you ensuring that your cylinders can withstand even the most extreme conditions.
